Starring Carolyn Farina, Edward Clements, Chris Eigerman, Taylor Nichols, Isabel Gillies

Heavily indebted to the Jane Austen works it alludes to, this modern comedy of manners follows a working class college kid, Tom, who falls into a wealthy crowd of kids his own age. There’s the intelligent and virtuous Audrey. The self-centered, cynical Nick. The mistrustful but decent Charlie, and a host of other upper class types. Only Stillman works beyond types. The humor comes from the distinct dialogue and characterizations. Wonderful, original romantic-comedy of sorts.
