Starring Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Leslie Jones, Kate McKinnon, Chris Hemsworth

Inclination to hate this film aside, the new Ghostbusters with an all female twist is neither good or bad. The plot, some creepy anarchist awakens an ancient evil, is not very scary or interesting, the cast is fine, but not surprising or funny enough to sustain the feature length. I don’t think Ghostbusters (1984) is capable of being rebooted successfully. It’s not James Bond. It was a huge hit, and loved to this day for being very much a part of its time.
