Starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Ken Watanabe, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Ellen Page, Marion Cotillard, Tom Hardy, Michael Caine, Tom Berenger, Cillian Murphy

Not as mind-bending or lucid as I had hoped, Christopher Nolan’s adventure-heist in to the world of dreams is nonetheless an intelligent and superbly crafted thriller. DiCaprio stars as an elaborate thief, with a shady past and a dead wife, who must put a team together for a high-stakes job of inception (a process of implanting an idea into a target); a job some characters doubt is even possible. Despite the well known cliffhanger and nonlinear storytelling, I still found the film a little too neat ultimately. It’s all very well-structured and the rules are setup cleanly.
