The three comedy stars play a silent screen trio of early action pictures mistaken for the real deal by a small Mexican village bullied by bandits. They’re asked to come in and protect the town by the villagers who’ve been pushed to the edge. Some jokes are inspired and others fall flat, but there is enough fun to be had to recommend the movie. The musical number in the bar, a great scene, comes early in the picture.
