First things first: I absolutely do not care about factual accuracy in film. However, in this incredibly acted biopic about Alan Turing, who helped create the machine that cracked enemy codes during World War II, certain points felt false or contrived: such as the antagonistic boss standing in the way of progress. Benedict Cumberbatch in his first great star performance makes the most of it, and deserves what ever awards come his way.
